Jebus has returned. We found her in the same location as the last time she went AWOL. Back near one of the greenbelts in the condo complex. Maybe she met some kitty or human friends or something. We looked there before, but she wasn't there... and then Saturday evening, around dusk, she popped out when we called. It's funny, because we found her in exactly the same way as last time... while putting up reward posters.
Jordan thinks she's in league with the printer ink refill cartridge companies. :)
So, Jebus and Sadie are indoor kitties indefinitely, until we decide otherwise. We'll see how Jordan's cat allergies handle it. I spent today getting them a super cool auto litter box, hoping it will keep some of the allergens down, because it cleans up after them right away. Jebus refused to use it until after she watched it operate. Then she was fascinated and wanted to pee in it right away. Sadie is still afraid of it. I sincerely hope that will change before I find surprises around the house. :)
So, life is good and our family is back together again. Yay! :)

How is the automated box working? We switched to the pine pellets (Feline Pine) because the dust from normal cat litter was getting to be too much!
Eh, it has issues actually. There's a plastic removable liner that is supposed to help keep things clean - you replace it every month or so. But for some reason litter and pee is getting down underneath it!
I'm not sure what the problem is yet but I narrowed it down to two possibilities:
1. Sadie hates using it so much that she pees right on the edge. heh
2. The liner itself is defective.
I haven't been able to find a replacement liner in a store yet (kind of a problem), so I might have to order one. Hopefully it's not a problem with the box design. So it's out of commission right now. To the delight of Sadie, who hates all automated equipment, including the water fountain we just got. :)
